Descaling your coffee machine

We know for a fact coffee fanatics don’t use their machine once a year…more like once a day…That’s why we wanted to share with you guys our best tip to properly clean and descale your coffee machine, using efficient and ecological products.

No to toxic coffee !

1.Equip yourself of our Citric Acid.

2. Dissolve 1 to 2 tblsp. of citric acid in 1L of lukewarm water.

3.Pour 1 cup of this magic potion into your machine.

4.Make yourself a « coffee » (don’t drink it…not exactly Costa Rica’s best brew…).

5.Let your machine rest for 15 to 30 minutes

6. Pour the remaining amount and repeat step 4

7.Rince with water

8.Rince with water (no mistake here, you do need it to do it twice)

Easy as that !

Your well maintained machine now has low risk of breaking down right on a morning when you reaaaaally need your coffee colored comfort to start to day.
